Traffic.I thought  
This was a two-way road  But apparently not.  Obvious  One-way, parking ticket  Not a through street.  Defy the cops  And go the other way.  Stop.  Are you blind to the green light shining above?  Check engine.  
You're not going anywhere  and neither am I.  Take off the parking brake  Let's go past 45.  No U-turns  I never want it to be like that again.  Let's tear down the do not enter  And tell them the wrong way is right.  And left is just another avenue  To the freeway. Traffic.

Quick Like Death.Silent as a stagnant pond,  
She moves quickly through the river,  A mass of bodies, colliding,  Silent, eyes always watching,  Staring at the shallow depths  Of the eyes around.   
Ahead of the crowd,  
She glides on the wind,  Never whispering  
In open spaces.   
Arriving at her destination,  The furnace in her heart  Is quickly set ablaze  
And her eyes burn holes  
Through the wood which feeds them.
